This is a great little hotel. Communication with staff was easy for us English speakers. There’s a luggage lift in the lobby with easy access to the elevator. The room was clean and the climate was easily controllable. Great, walkable location with immediate access to a bunch of restaurants. Safe area. I would estimate that the subway is a two minute walk away.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This place is very authentically Japanese and exceptionally clean. It has a couple of tatami rooms and a calm view onto a rock garden. There was a no shoes inside policy and our suitcases were cleaned before the team brought them up. ]
There are two spacious bathrooms, both with a bath and handheld showers and plenty of hot water. As with most accommodation in Japan, the kitchen was small with only a couple of rings on the hob and limited storage space, so cooking a full meal was a challenge but there are plenty of restaurants nearby and it’s easy to buy great sushi at the stores.
It’s also close to the subway which is essential in Tokyo. Although the team speak no English, the use of translation apps meant that communication was excellent and checkin and out were both very easy. We had a late flight home on our last day and the team helpfully stored our bags all day after we checked out. If you are looking for authentic Japanese accommodation I would highly recommended this place.
